The Camphill Community Greenacres is a small commune of people needing special care. They live and work together in three countryside buildings near Dublin. Everyone living there has their own activities to tend to – a prerequisite for normal, everyday life. Ecological, social, economic and spiritual aspects should be central to daily life, making it possible to live in harmony with one another. There is a garden containing organic vegetables to assist in attaining this goal. Employees offer the inhabitants daily workshops in the areas of music, theatre, art and weaving, making it possible for people with health problems to develop their skills and discover their hidden talents. Greenacres is a pioneering project and is constantly moving forward.
